Hi, I’m Shannon!

Engineering is my medium for creativity, problem-solving, and design expression. I build real things for real people, and I care about making my designs accesible. I hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and a Master’s in Design Engineering from Brown University & RISD, with extensive hands-on grounding in makerspaces and fabrication shops.

Recently, I’ve been expanding into mechatronics, along with CNC, CAM, and human-factors work on full-scale builds. I like surrounding myself with new technology and concepts so I’m always learning. I also have a strong passion for education and mentorship, and I continuously work to demystify complex concepts for myself and others.
